Consumer Resources | Septic Maintenance

Educating the customer is one thing that really sets Drain-Pro apart from the competition. Take a moment to review this page to learn more about your septic system or about the services we offer. Then, if you have more questions don’t hesitate to give us a call.

At Drain-Pro, we believe that customer education is critical to proper septic maintenance and problem prevention.

We also believe that the more you know about your own septic system and about the resources available to you, the more capable you will be of making educated decisions regarding your home’s waste management.

As important as it is for us to be the first on your list to call whenever there is a waste management, drain cleaning or other similar problem or emergency, we¬†believe it is even more important that you know as much about your home’s system as possible. After all, the more you know the better you’ll be able to make conscientious choices and the better we’ll be able to develop a long-term relationship with you.

Take a moment to look through the resource links at the¬†bottom of this page. The list includes several animated septic system and other demos to help you learn how they work. We’ve also included links to several local resources that you may find useful. Once you’ve had a chance to review the information available here, give us a call and we’ll be happy to answer any other questions that you may have, or schedule an appointment to provide you with a free evaluation of your septic or drain situation.

By clicking on the YouTube link to the right you will be directed to our YouTube page with original videos including a 2 part troubleshooting your septic video. This video will show you how to check your cleanout, how to check and clear your inlet baffle, how to clean your filter, and how to check your pump chamber and pump if you have a pressure system.
